The agency g+h communication was set up by two journalists. They combine many years of experience in different media - print, radio, TV - together with proven expertise in the areas of developmental co-operation and topics connected with globalisation.

Rhan Gunderlach, who was born in 1961 in Seoul and studied in Munich, worked as a TV journalist for various ARD associated television companies and as a presenter for SFB for 15 years. She was the press speaker for the EXPO 2000 for the Thematic Area, World Wide Projects and Global Dialogue. She contributed substantially to the book "Auswege in die Zukunft", a collection of essays and interviews on the most pressing issues of our times, which was edited among others by Ricardo Diéz Hochleitner, Honorary President of the Club of Rome.

Annette Hornung-Pickert, who was born in 1963 in Santiago de Chile, went to elementary-school in Madagaskar, and studied in Giessen, has many years of experience working as a journalist for radio, TV and print media. She has specialised in topics dealing with developmental co-operation for 20 years and among other things, had a supervisory role and produced reports for the Deutsche Welle on African countries. While studying she already worked for the "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ)", and she was also press officer for the "Deutsche Stiftung für internationale Entwicklung" (DSE).
